Currently in Denver — September 6, 2023: Comfortably warm

Plus, welcome to the new Denver writer, Julia Dinmore!

The weather, currently.

Cooler, but still comfortably warm

Summer’s major heat wave is slowly coming to a close (at last!), leaving us with some milder yet still high temperatures with which to enjoy the great outdoors.

With the sun shining and a high near 87, Denver’s many parks and bike paths are sure to see a lot of activity. Wind gusts are slated to reach up to 18 mph in the afternoon, but much of the day will be accompanied by a pleasant breeze to help keep cool beneath our beloved yet unforgiving Colorado sun. Make sure to lather on some SPF before venturing outside!
